So apparently Rico has never cried so much as when I come home and he wants all of my attention. Of course I love it! My mom says that he doesn't cry all day until his daddy and I come home from work, and he knows I am home, and he wonders why I'm not spending all of my time with him.
But Rico also has kind of a tough life right now, and so do we. The three of us are are temporarily staying at my parents house down at the Jersey Shore and we are commuting every day and every night to and from New York City for work. We are both very glad that it is only temporary and after a couple months we will be moving into our apartment that we will own, but an hour and 40 minutes one way is killer. I don't know how these commuters do it every day of their lives with no end in sight. It's only been two days and I hate it. The only upside is I get to spend all that time next to my boyfriend.
Rico on the other hand has to watch his back all day. If he doesn't want to be stuck in my old bedroom all day he must brave the house looking out for my dog Zoe. These two do not get along at all. Tonight they had an encounter so bad, Rico went running back upstairs to my room and started wheezing!
I know we all miss living in New York.
