You can keep you springing cat toys and your battery powered mice. Rico and I like to play a little game called "What The Hell Is That Crazy Thing Under My Blanket?" All you need is a blanket that your cat likes to lie on and your two hands (you can also use your feet for a similar effect.)

While placing your hands under the blanket you must make sure your feline friend is on top of the blanket and can't see that your hands are the things making the bulging thing underneath. Then without warning you start to move your hands in a mouse-like motion. The movements should be sporadic like a scared mouse that doesn't know which way is out. If your cat is like Rico this game will be hours (ok maybe more like minutes) of amusement for the both of you. If your cat is a little bit smarter than that, and is not amused by obvious tricks then this game is not for you.
