So it can't be all cats because Hector does not do this, but Rico seems to have this fascination with circular and/or cylindrical things. My hairties always wind up missing, and I find them days later in the paws of one little black furball. But even funnier or possibly more annoying than that, Rico likes to push glasses and cups. He pushes his water bowl across the floor. He pushes drinking cups off the coffee table. Sometimes they are empty, but more often than not they are at least half way full. Sometimes they are plastic, but more often than not they are glass. Thank god most of the time we can catch him doing it before the glass reaches the floor, but their have been a couple times where I've wound up having to carefully clean up glass from the floor plus whatever sticky juice was in the glass while Rico just watches like "oops." Now I don't want to say that Rico is a bad cat (his daddy will say he is), but what is it about glasses and cups that makes him want to shove them??? Just today we had a plastic Slurpy cup from 7-11 on the desk next to the bed. It had just a little bit of melted ice and soda left in it and he pushed it onto the bed spilling the contents onto the bed cover. Ok so that was bad. Why does he do this?? What is the fascination? Any thoughts?
