KITLERS!! (Cats that look like Hitler)
Ok if you don't get offended by very un-p.c. stuff, and you aren't sensitive to jokes about German dictators then this website is for you. Oh yeah, you also have to somewhat like cats and understand how funny they can be, and you also should understand that if they could understand what humans do to them half the time they'd be really pissed off.
With all this in mind check out this site!
Low-budget cat game No.1
You can keep you springing cat toys and your battery powered mice. Rico and I like to play a little game called "What The Hell Is That Crazy Thing Under My Blanket?" All you need is a blanket that your cat likes to lie on and your two hands (you can also use your feet for a similar effect.)
While placing your hands under the blanket you must make sure your feline friend is on top of the blanket and can't see that your hands are the things making the bulging thing underneath. Then without warning you start to move your hands in a mouse-like motion. The movements should be sporadic like a scared mouse that doesn't know which way is out. If your cat is like Rico this game will be hours (ok maybe more like minutes) of amusement for the both of you. If your cat is a little bit smarter than that, and is not amused by obvious tricks then this game is not for you.
Check back for more games (as I think of them.)
Love & purrs,
Rico's Mommy
The cat the screams bloody murder.
When I got to my grandmother's apartment today I opened the door, walked in, and called "hello" to my grandma (I like to make sure she is still alive before I walk into her room. I have nightmares about being the person who finds her.) Usually when I walk in the front door Hector is waiting to greet me or he's bouncing all over the place seemingly excited that I have arrived finally!
Well this morning Hector wasn't there, but instead I heard what sounded like a cat-call for help coming from my Grandmother's room. I'm not really sure how to describe this sound, but what I can say is that when I first heard it I thought it was a truck outside making some horrible screaching noise. When I heard it again I realized it was coming from a cat. It was almost as if Hector was screaming; as if he had been stuck under something for days and was dying, and when he heard me it took all his strength to let out this crazy meow so I would come to his rescue.
I really thought he was caught underneath something and his guts were spilling out or something. Or my grandmother had sat on him and didn't even realize. Of course when I went to find him, sure that I was about to see my baby smooshed under a collapsed bed he crawled out towards me perfectly fine. What a weirdo... My grandma said he wanted to see me, but if that's the case then he is just as melodramatic as his brother Rico.
